12 Days of HOPE

Help us go into the new year stronger than ever!

Scroll to see the 12 programs, events, and advocacy initiatives we are highlighting this holiday season, or make a general donation above! Each program will get a special highlight on our social media this month as we close out an incredible year in our community!

It's the most impactful time of year

This year, for our End-of-Year Giving campaign, MitoAction will highlight the programs and events that brought hope, support, and advocacy to our community. It’s a full-circle moment, a chance to reflect on all we’ve experienced together, learn from it, and set the foundation for a strong start to 2026.

In November, we hosted our third annual Open Mito Mic & Art Show, centered around the theme “Sharing Our Truths.” Our truths, about our health and the health of those we love, are constantly evolving. They create an ebb and flow of creativity, pain, struggle, acceptance, and peace. We invited our artists and creators to reflect on their truths, and express what it means to live with mito.

It’s a meaningful theme to carry with us into the holiday season and the close of 2025. Each of us connects to mito, and to MitoAction in different ways. Whether you’re a patient, caregiver, friend, clinician, sponsor, volunteer, or supporter, you play a vital role in strengthening this community.

Through this campaign, we hope to shine a light on the many “truths” within MitoAction that fuel our mission to support and advocate for a brighter future for those affected by mito. Join us for the 12 Days of Hope to make a difference this holiday season and help us begin the new year stronger than ever.
